Varieties:Spearmint, Peppermint (for oil production)
Planting Dates:Fall or early Spring (most is Spring planted)
Spacing:Broadcast roots, and cover with soil for sprinkler irrigation
Harvest Date:Normally two cuttings per year
Irrigation Types:Rill, Sprinkler: 40 inches of water
Harvest Practices:Swathed to field dry then chopped into steam trailers twice a year.
Taken to steam generating stills to remove oil from leaves.
